Associate He is a young passionate graphic designer associated with School of Leadership since 3 years. Abid has worked on a variety of creative campaigns for programs for 14 to 24 year olds. His design distinction comes from his eye for small details, hence enhancing the big picture greatly. He believes in playing more with less and chooses few colors and simplicity, resulting in striking, bold and effective outcome/designs! He is not just a graphic designer but a trainer as well with exposure to numerous diverse audiences. As a young trainer he believe in: -Behind ever success there is a good decision, behind every good decision there is experience, behind experience there are plenty of mistakes, so go and make mistakes, the more the mistakes, the more the experience. But this rule comes with a condition i.e. you have to learn with every mistake you make. Repeating mistakes insanity!
-If you want something that you don't have, then go and do something you haven't done yet.
Abid enjoys his free time hanging out with friends, swimming, reading personal development books, searching for inspiring, watching movies and TV serials (a big fan of them). He is currently pursuing his MBA Marketing from Iqra University. |

“I laugh, I love, I hope, I try, I hurt, I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things too, so we're really not that different, me and you."
It is hard to define the word ‘Fun’ in general but one finds it very easy to understand it by meeting this girl. Family calls her "BATAKH". She believes in whatever the mind conceives or believes, it can achieve.
YLC gave her different turns to experience life in her own way. She aspires to complete her MBA. Anny enjoys reading, sketching, watching movies etc. Playing guitar is her passion! |

Chief Turning Officer - Torque Umair, the turner! He is a believer, and one of his beliefs is that paradigms and perceptions don’t change facts. He creates visions and dreams from facts. He makes his audience believe in themselves. Realistically. To him, facts, no matter how brutal, turn on the infinite potential present in all of us. Like a wise wizard, he uses an assortment of tools, substance and temperature in his cauldron. He is about revising the basics. To him good answers come from a good question. He loves religion, business, philosophy and psychology - knowledge. It is a spell-bounding journey how he integrates all of them to lead a group to pragmatic action plans. His training route is in the face, direct and heart hitting. His leadership style is walk-the-talk, and he takes his audience along, like his team mates. His humble exterior and age doesn’t echo the crowds he has transformed, at SoL (including YLC, TTYT & HPJ) and other schools, colleges, universities, and organizations (including Habib Bank Limited, The Citizens Foundation, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP), Aga Khan Sports and Welfare Board, All Pakistan Memon Foundation, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Iqra University, Karachi University, PAF KIET, Foundation Public School and Beaconhouse School). He immediately relaxes his audience, guards down, receptive to learning, before he shakes their paradigms again. His sessions are a rollercoaster journey of change, exercises/games, questions, quotes, challenges and realizations. He has proudly led 300 youth to feel, focus and fly in YLC 2006, a 6 day intensive training conference. His core areas of training are ‘Principles as way of life’, ‘Managing Change’, ‘Sell with Impact’, ‘Entrepreneurship’ and ‘Career Planning’. Get ready for a bewitching experience! Get ready to be turned! |
